In this engaging virtual lecture, Laura Keyes, librarian and scholar, will present the history of this personal album, showing attendees which photographs Mary Lincoln preserved and which she chose to leave out, offering a unique glimpse into her life and legacy.
About the Speaker:
Laura Keyes earned her Master’s Degree in Library Studies from UW-Madison and is a lifetime member of the Association of Lincoln Presenters. She is a librarian in central Illinois and a recognized expert on Mary Lincoln, having won the Mary Todd Lincoln Oratory Contest in 2017 at the Lincoln Days Celebration in Hodgenville, Kentucky.
