Perpich Center for Arts Education is the state agency established by the Minnesota legislature to provide all Minnesota students the opportunity to develop and integrate their artistic and academic abilities to their highest potential.Perpich Center for Arts Education has three primary programs:-The statewide, public, accredited, residential arts high school for 11th and 12th grades-The statewide arts education library, offering an extensive collection of books and materials for use by teachers, artists, students and the public-Outreach, which offers statewide professional arts integration development, serves as administration for Turnaround Arts: Minnesota, provides standards-based arts education planning and curriculum development for Minnesota K-12 schools

Perpich Center for Arts Education

Presented by Perpich Arts High School, a tuition-free, public, residential arts high school for students in 11th and 12th grades.

<p>The performance is a compilation of selected scenes from Caryl Churchill’s play &quot;Love &amp; Information&quot; that range from less than a minute in length to a few minutes long. The play allows the director and production team to take and create a version of the play that they want to in all of the varying options and approaches Churchill’s play allows. Nothing is specific in terms of casting or gender within the show. Within the play are over 100 characters, however none of the characters are named and are double cast. The play asks the production team and audiences to consider how meaning is constructed and to participate in the process of creating. We have applied elements of Greg Allen’s Neo-futurist theater to this production.</p><p>COVID-19 Conditions:</p><ul><li>All attendees are required to wear a mask.</li><li><a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeIl6lm_wSxqV_I2DrZ1e7w4HEaQeUSJIDyPp6aNUuzCSNqEQ/viewform?gxids=7628" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">All attendees need to complete the Visitor Health Screening Questionnaire before attending.</a></li><li>Social distancing will be observed between parties in the audience.</li><li>Seating is limited.</li></ul>
