Join ArtFlow &amp; Nanda Yoga in a Children's Yoga class in the Artspace111 Sculpture Garden!  Monday, 10.25.2021 from 5-6 pm

This time of year we know kiddos want to wear their Halloween Costumes everywhere they go, now you've got the perfect place to bring them! On Monday, October 25 2021 from 5-6 pm, ArtFlow and Nanda Yoga will hold a children's yoga class in the Artspace111 sculpture gardens. This class is a great opportunity to get outside with your kids while teaching them healthy ways to move their bodies and exert energy. Besides, having a silly time dressed up and being outside, children will practice skills associated with balance, strength, endurance, and self-esteem. This is a casual class, with beer available for adults and candy for the kids!What to bring: <ul><li>This class is BYOM (Bring your own mat), or towel, or picnic blanket. Class happens on the turf, so mats are not needed unless you'd like something between your feet and the turf. </li><li>Bring a water bottle and wear sunblock! Although Autumn is here, this is Texas and the sun is still hot☀️ </li><li>Wear costumes! </li><li>Free Beer and candy are included in your reservation. </li></ul>About Nanda Yoga: Nanda Yoga provides classes and workshops for students aged 6 weeks to 12 years. In Nanda Yoga’s non-competitive and inclusive environment, the students build strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness through playful yoga poses, yoga games, mindfulness, art, sensory activities, engaging music, puppets, and stories. Nanda Yoga encourages a feeling of well-being and respect for others which results in greater love for one's self, inside and out. During class, the teachers introduce kids to yoga's true meaning: union, expression, and honor for oneself and the community that surrounds them. Classes are created based on the developmental needs for each age range and will provide an integrated learning experience that your child will love!About ArtFlow: ArtFlow is the yoga initiative of the Fort Worth Contemporary Art Gallery Artspace111. With the intention of connecting art to movement, ArtFlow embraces the art of yoga and motion. In an effort to challenge the ideas of what art can be, ArtFlow expands the binaries of artistic expression. Classes are held in the sculpture garden of Artspace111 once a month, varying with the exception of additional children's yoga classes. In the month of October, ArtFlow will hold Children's Yoga with Nanda Yoga on Monday, October 25, 2021, from 5-6 pm, as well as 'Trick or Tree Pose' Yoga on Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 6-7 pm.
