What you'll be doing:

Holidays are a great time for families to create special memories. But, some families don’t have enough money to pay for extras like cookie mix and cocoa even though they are working really hard. Kind kids will explore gratitude with a hands-on activity and then help families create holiday memories of toasting delicious cups of cocoa and baking cookies by packing cookie and cocoa kits for People In Need of Delaware County.

This Anywhere Project can be done at home, school, or wherever you are!

This project is on-going. Families and groups may participate anytime until the project ends on December 7th. Donations may be contact-free, porch-dropped from 9am - 7pm December 5th-7th at a Seeds of Caring Ambassador's home in Dublin, Westerville, Hilliard or Upper Arlington. Addresses are provided in your service packet.

How it all works:

Once you have completed registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite with a link to your service packet. This packet includes project instructions, guided discussions and more. If for some reason you cannot access this file, please email programs@seedsofcaring.org for assistance.

The meaning-making:

Engaging children’s hearts and minds before getting their hands active with service is a vital step in raising caring, compassionate humans. In every Seeds of Caring service packet, you'll find quick, easy-to-use guides to support you in leading meaning-making conversations! This project's guided discussion focuses on gratitude and basic needs.

Approximate Cost:

$5 for 1 kit. For the cheer card, use craft supplies on hand or the printable template provided in the service packet.
