The inaugural first-of-its-kind meeting dedicated to topics surrounding the idea of Titan as the next human destination after Mars!

The two-day 2026 Humans to Titan Summit will feature key note speakers, panels and submitted topic presentations.

Attendees may choose to submit an abstract using this Google forms link: https://forms.gle/NNjhRv5HfUvLRJBD8. Abstracts are due by April 1, 2016

Topic categories for the Summit include:

Humans Misssion Topics

  • Scientific Goals for Human Missions
  • Human Travel Concept and Systems
  • Human Landers, Habitats and EVA
  • ISRU Concepts
  • Extensibility from Lunar and Mars Missions

Precursor Robotic Science Missions

  • Environmental Properties
  • Environmental Hazards (e.g. tholins, contaminants, etc)
  • Precursor Science Goals
  • Precursor Mission Concepts and Frequency
  • Sites of Interest

Key Speakers will include:

  • Dr. Alan Stern, PI for New Horizons
  • Dr. Amanda Hendrix, CEO of the Planetary Science Institute and President of Explore Titan
  • Dr. Ralph Lorenz, JHU APL, Titan expert and Dragonfly Mission Architect
  • Dr. Jason Barnes, Deputy PI for Dragonfly

Attendees will recieve inaugural event swag commemorating the first ever Humans to Titan Summit!

The Summit will be hosted by the Southwest Research Institute in Boulder, Colorado. Box lunch is offered for each day and can be ordered during the registration process.
