Korea Day at Balboa Park

House of Korea is a non-profit organization that has actively shared Korean culture since 2014 at Balboa Park as a member of House of Pacific Relations, presenting traditional performances, art, and food. Now that the House of Korea Cottage construction is completed in 2021, the Cottage will become a central venue for sharing our exquisite Korean Culture thereby bringing greater diversity to the Park visitors.

Saturday, Oct. 23 Don't miss out K-Pop Cover Dance Festival Final, Korean traditional percussion (Gwanggeto Samulnori) &amp; B-boy performances, and Korean boyband P1 Harmony fan meeting! "The House of Korea celebrates its new cottage with a daylong event that includes the The K-pop Cover Dance Festival, a popular dance competition usually held in Los Angeles. They debuted on October 28th, 2020 with ‘SIREN’.Gwanggeto Samulnori is a professional percussion band with an aim to spread the prestigious Korean traditional culture of Samulnori (Korean traditional percussion quarter) all over the globe and bring this precious cultural asset to an international arena.
