This event is designed to Educate students, parents, and educators about the career opportunities in the building trades.

<p>Welcome to the 2021 Central Illinois Introduction to the Building Trades Apprenticeships and Careers Day registration.  The intent of this event is to provide as much information to High School <strong>students</strong>, <strong>parents</strong>, <strong>administrators</strong>, <strong>teachers</strong>, and <strong>counselors</strong> about construction apprenticeships and how to go about getting started if interested.  </p><p>Please select either the morning session 8:30am-12:00pm or the afternoon session 12:00pm-3:00pm. This will be an open type event, each school may arrive and depart anytime during the session or overlap the sessions if need be.  Plan for at least 2 hours for students to participate in the activities. This will be a &quot;hands-on&quot; event with many activities related to the trades. Each trade will have activities designed to give the students an idea of what each trade specializes in, along with information about each apprenticeship program. Please encourage the students to wear appropriate attire, including appropriate footwear.
