Not one bit. Wellness Through Art is about connecting with yourself through the art. Techniques and skill are not needed.

What kind of art supplies will I need?

A link will be sent to you with your confirmation email. You can purchase what you need prior to the event. Some items you may already have around your house.

I'm already an artist, why would I want to do Wellness Through Art?

As an artist you enjoy all the wonderful techniques of art, but Wellness Through Art is more about how to let your emotions and the unknown parts of you show up to the canvas than it is about art. Plus you get to make new friends.

What can I expect from a Wellness Through Art experience?

In this three hours of Wellness Through Art session and may rediscover your creativity, your sense of self, or an aha moment on something you've already been working on, but had felt stuck.

What is this event?

Wellness Through Art™ takes women on a transformational art journey combining archetypal wisdom and the spiritual side of art-making. We're going to complete the first layer of this journey in this intro. If you've wanted to paint and have had a difficult time with a blank canvas, this is for you.

Can I use a medium other than acrylics?

No, for the specific process we are doing in this event, acrylics are necessary.
 
We love all mediums but acrylics offer a quick dry time and ability to build up layers that we need for this experiential.
