Hotel 02 is just 15 minutes from Downtown Palm Springs, situated in the heart of Desert Hot Springs—also known as “Spa City.”

What Time Is Event Check-In?

Event check-in begins at 10:00 am. We also offer self-check-in via a digital keypad, and a door code will be provided on the day of arrival. Please note that a valid ID and credit card must be on file prior to check-in

What Are Day Use Hours?

All spa pools and amenities are open to Day Use ticket holders from 10:00 am to 12:00 Midnight.

Where Do I Park?

There’s plenty of free parking in front of the Hotel as well as in the large lot to the left of the property. We can also accommodate limited caravans and motor coaches at no additional cost with advance notice.

What Does European-Style Sunbathing Mean?

Our hotel promotes a relaxed atmosphere where European-style topless sunbathing by the pool is welcomed and encouraged. However we do require cover ups or sarongs in common areas and when not poolside.

Currently, we do not serve alcohol on the premises. However, responsible adults may bring their own beverages for personal consumption. We do not allow coolers by the pool. Please drink responsibly.

Taxis, Uber, Lyft, and car services are readily available. Nearby shopping is accessible but might be beyond walking distance for some. Overall, a car is recommended, with free parking available for all guests.

Originally built in 1952, the hotel has been thoughtfully updated with modern amenities while retaining its original 1950s charm. Surrounded by the majestic San Bernardino and San Jacinto Mountains, the property offers stunning 270-degree mountain views.

May I Use the Lobby Lounge/Kitchen?

Our community lounge and kitchen are free for all guests to use. It’s well stocked with cookware and utensils—many guests bring groceries and stay on-site for their entire stay. Please note that hours may vary based on events, and we ask guests to clean up after themselves.

Are Pets allowed?

We allow well behaved, socialized pets for a $50 fee but require advanced notice that you will be traveling with a pet. We also ask that you immediately clean up after your pet and agree to pay for any damage to furniture, linens, etc. in the event an accident occurs.

Where Does the Mineral Water Originate?

All our pools are filled with natural mineral spring water which originates from deep underground at a tempertaure of over over 112°F/44°C.

We are an adult-only boutique hotel, offering a tranquil environment where guests can relax and be free. For families or those traveling with children, other properties may be more suitable. We have a strict 21+ age policy.

Our local tap water has been ranked among the top 10 tastiest tap waters in the US for over a decade. It is safe to drink, environmentally friendly, and often preferred by guests—some even bring bottles to take the water home!

We prioritize our guests’ and staff’s privacy and safety. Surveillance cameras are in place throughout nearly every public area of the resort, including the pools, spa, and gardens.

Is Hotel 02 Available for Private Parties and Events?
