1% Can Create Real Change: A Dinner Dialogue with One for the World

One for the World is a registered nonprofit organization in the United States and the United Kingdom. Our mission is to build a movement of people revolutionizing charitable giving to end extreme poverty through education, training, and community building.We encourage everyone to fully embrace their opportunity to give to extreme poverty and global health causes by taking the 1% Pledge with One for the World. We work with GiveWell and our portfolio of Nonprofit Partners to recommend the most effective nonprofit organizations to our community of philanthropists. The Northeastern One for the World Chapter is excited to host Frank, Executive Director of One for the World, for a special talk on October 28th at 6:00 PM. Pizza will be provided!In this Dinner &amp; Dialogue, Frank will explore the global challenge of extreme poverty and how we can all be part of the solution through effective giving - the practice of using data and evidence to support the most impactful charities. He will also highlight the power of the 1% pledge, showing how students can start making a meaningful difference today.This is a unique opportunity to learn how small commitments can add up to real, lasting impact.
