The Jameson Singers present: Reflections

Founded in 2010 by Jameson Marvin, former Director of Choral Activities at Harvard University, and now music directed by Kevin Leong, the Jameson Singers has become one of the premiere vocal ensembles in the Boston area. Their repertoire spans a cappella gems from the 15th to the 21st centuries, and choral-orchestral masterworks including those of Monteverdi, Schütz, Bach, Haydn, Mozart, and Fauré. Featuring the characteristic attributes of Dr. Marvin’s choruses, the Jameson Singers has gained critical acclaim for their excellence in intonation, unified ensemble, and inspired, communicative singing.

Selections span centuries of beautiful, meditative and inspirational music, including Johannes Brahms’s epic four-movement motet, Warum ist das Licht gegeben, works by Palestrina and Poulenc, and the folk favorite, Shenandoah.
