NAVIGATING THE NEXT

Leadership & Innovation in a Transforming World

This year’s Forum will explore how legal and business leaders are navigating a rapidly shifting environment where AI adoption, workforce transformation, regulatory pressure, and market consolidation are redefining how we practice law and do business.

Our panels will dive into the evolving role of business and law firm leaders – how we adapt to disruptive technology, attract and retain top talent, protect data in the AI era, and deliver meaningful value to customers, clients, and communities. We’ll also examine the broader forces driving change across the legal and business landscape, including shifting market dynamics, evolving client expectations, and the growing demand for innovation, accountability, and strategic adaptability.

Held on Earth Day, this year’s Forum will also reflect on the legal industry’s expanding role in shaping a more sustainable, accountable future.

We are pleased to introduce an exceptional group of featured speakers, including:

· Glory Alcántara, Director, Multicultural Marketing at General Mills

· Chad Volkert, Global C-Suite Leader-Legal, Risk & Compliance at Protiviti

· Jeff Evans, President at Volta Global

· Evan Nierman, Founder & CEO at Red Banyan

· Patrice Gillespie Smith, President & COO at The Underline Miami

· Felipe Jaramillo, Head of Commercial Legal Americas GTM at Stripe

Leading Through Disruption – AI, Innovation & The Future of Work

This panel will focus on how leaders across industries can successfully guide their organizations through rapid transformation. Speakers will explore how AI, workforce evolution, and shifting customer expectations are redefining how companies operate and deliver value. 178. BUILDING AN INTELLIGENCE-DRIVEN ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE

The Forum is hosted and underwritten by Bast Amron, and we donate all of the proceeds to our designated community partner. This year, our partner is Dade Legal Aid. Since 1949, Dade Legal Aid (DLA) has been dedicated to providing Access to Justice for low-income individuals and families in Miami-Dade County. Through the work of staff attorneys and pro bono volunteers, DLA offers free civil legal services that change—and often save—lives, serving over 10,000 residents each year through strong partnerships with law firms, law schools, and community organizations.

At last year’s event, we raised $6,000.00 for The Education Fund, a non-profit organization. We are looking forward to raising even more this year for Dade Legal Aid.
