Sustainability in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sectors - asking the right questions?

Are you interested in addressing sustainability in the (bio) pharmaceuticals and life-sciences sectors?

<p>As part of <a href="https://www.teachingandlearning.ie/event/valuing-irelands-teaching-and-learning-vital-week-2021/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">valuing teaching and learning week</a> (VIT&amp;L), the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching &amp; Learning  has kindly  supported this once-off <a href="https://www.teachingandlearning.ie/event/educating-for-sustainability-in-the-bio-pharmaceutical-sectors/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">webinar</a> to explore  sustainability challenges in the (bio) pharmaceuticals and life-sciences sectors?  For educators and professionals in (bio) pharma, the session will  address:-</p><ul><li> transformation in sustainability literacy for to the Bio-Pharmaceutical and Life-Sciences sectors;</li><li>Explore exemplars of curriculum design, pedagogical approaches and assessment strategies for sustainability in (Bio) Pharma and Life Sciences</li><li>Explore fundamental questions about the role and purpose of Higher Education in building embedded pathways for lifelong sustainability</li></ul>

<p>The main speakers are  William Whitford from <a href="https://www.dpsgroupglobal.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">DPS Globa</a>l, Paul McCabe, chair of <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/biopharmachem-ireland/?originalSubdomain=ie" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">BioPharmaChem Ireland</a>, and Dr. Cormac MacMahon, senior lecturer in sustainability  at <a href="https://www.tudublin.ie" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">TU  Dublin</a> and co-founder of <a href="https://sdgliteracy.ie" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">SDG Literacy</a>.  The session will be chaired by Dr. Adrienne Fleming, of the National Pharmaceutical Education Centre  at TU Dublin.</p>
