However, many advocates and educators lack the training and skills necessary to communicate their story into clear, concise, and actionable information for policymakers.This workshop aims to bridge this gap by providing industry professionals, educators, and advocates with the knowledge and tools to communicate their needs effectively to policymakers, ultimately leading to more informed policy decisions. This interactive Lunch &amp; Learn workshop equips participants with the tools to:<ul><li>Understand the policymaking process</li><li>Tailor messages to policymakers’ communication styles</li><li>Craft compelling one-pagers (policy briefs)</li><li>Practice storytelling and message development</li></ul>Agenda:11:00–12:00 – Expert-led presentation12:00–12:45 – Lunch (provided) &amp; break12:45–2:00 – Interactive story development session<h4>🎟️ Registration</h4>Cost: $30 Attendance is limited – register early to secure your spot!<h4>🚗 Parking Information</h4>Nearby parking included with registration fee. Lunch & Break

Participants will learn how to write compelling policy briefs that effectively communicate the importance and implications of their issue. In addition to policy briefs, participants will determine their main communication points, clarifying their message to decision-makers.
