Celebrate the sensational snakes of Illinois with the Nature Museum!

Slither over to the Nature Museum on Saturday, October 30, for a sssuper sssensational celebration of snakes! Trick-or-treat with our resident cold-blooded critters, create your own ceramic snake with <a href="https://lillstreet.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Lillstreet Art Center</a>, get up close with unique preserved collections, and participate in a costume contest for a special surprise. Costumes are welcome. Masks are required. The ticket price includes museum admission. This event will be in-person, so please know before you go:<ul><li>All guests over the age of 2 must wear a face mask that fully covers the nose and mouth with no vents or openings unless medically unable.</li><li>Guests must practice social distancing at all times, keeping six feet between your party and others when possible.</li></ul><ul><li>Guests should abide by the <a href="https://www.chicago.gov/city/en/sites/covid-19/home/emergency-travel-order.html" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">City of Chicago travel advisory</a> if they have recently traveled to another state.</li><li>If you feel unwell, are experiencing any <a href="https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">COVID-19 symptoms</a>, or have been exposed to or come into close contact with a confirmed [or suspected] case of COVID-19, please stay home and email programs@naturemuseum.org to receive a refund for the event.</li></ul>
