Temple has a growing population of active adults new to the area and gaps in entertainment and leisure activities locally without the need to travel to Austin, Dallas, or Houston. Our unguided brewery and micro/nano brewery tours connect our customers to up-and-coming wineries/breweries/restaurants/etc. The level of small business growth in Temple received a shout out from the governor in January of 2020, and there has been great growth in the region for craft beers. Tour Temple’s value proposition is to provide safe transportation alternatives to connect people with other like-minded local businesses.

Plan to register now and join our innaugural <a href="http://templehistoricdistrict.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Temple Historic Home District</a> tour by electric scooter on Sunday October 17th from 2pm-4pm at Tour Temple, 13 S 2nd Street. Leading the historic homes tour is our guide Dan Elder, a member of the Bell County Historical Commission (BCHC). Riders should arrive between 2:30-2:45 to set-up their Sunday Scooter app and activate their Scooter. Helmets are available for FREE and we offer GoPro&#x27;s and mounting gear to rent (optional). Scooter lessons and practice rides will be permitted up until 2pm, all riders must have an iPhone or Android and download the app to manage their scooters. The Tour launches by scooter at 2pm and <a href="https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1jwGngR8feXbWvdzsEkuZOYDFTuIuDjHk&amp;usp=sharing" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">we follow a route</a> that first stops at the Santa Fe depot and then stops ate the oldest residence in Temple, TX. Then the group travels north on 9th Street to the boundary of the designated North Central Temple Historic District. Seeing the district by scooters allows our guest to have a full view of the beauty, archietcture and natural settings of some of the most opulent homes in the area. Our guide stops at 15 designated stops and points out historical facts about select homes. During the tour we see homes with Temple Historical Markers, Texas Historical Markers, four Recorded Texas Historic Landmark s(RTHL) and one home listed on the National Register of Historic Places.At the conclusion of the tour each guest over 21 is provided a drink of their choice at Corkys Beer and Wine, for those under 21 soft drinks will be provided as well.
