Having been promised a gong bath, Jacinta aka Kalyan Darshan unknowingly attended her first Kundalini Yoga Class!  It was the most uplifting yoga experience she had ever encountered, and thus began a regular Kundalini Yoga practice. After experiencing many personal benefits, she felt compelled to learn more and completed the Kundalini Yoga Research Institute's Teacher Training program and has since also completed KRI Level 2 training.Kalyan Darshan holds a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy, Physiology and Psychology, a Bachelor of Ministry and Metaphysics, has studied Sound Healing with Jonathan Goldman and Eileen McCusick and sacred mantra with Krishna Das. <h3>Libra New Moon Meditation</h3>Hello Sat Nam friends, Sati and I have planned a wonderful meditation in this season of Libra, for restoring balance, health, and harmony. Libra is depicted by Lady Justice, blindfolded, holding scales and a sword, she personifies an unbiased moral perspective, for liberty and justice. Ruled by planet Venus, we are empowered to bring more authenticity to the love we flow, and more awareness and energy to what we value in our lives for the liberation of ourselves and for all.At the time of our meditation, the moon will be in the balsamic phase, that is, it is becoming a smaller and smaller crescent in the days leading up to the Libra new moon when she totally disappears.Moon’s balsamic phase is a signal to turn within, to reflect upon our inner world that Moon represents. It is the best time to contemplate our new moon intentions. In the spirit of Libra, we can ask ourselves where balance is required for ourselves and in relation to others, our partners, family, friends, work colleagues, even our enemies. During our practice, Sun will be directly opposite Chiron, the wounded healer, shining a light on our health. This can pertain to health in the physical, mental, emotional, financial, spiritual, or relationship arenas. Chiron is in Aries, so this can bring up feelings about our right to be alive, and our self-worth. Let's meditate on that! The new moon that occurs the following Wednesday is SUPER ENERGIZED as Mars (ruler of Aries), the planet of action, energy, and the mantra I AM, is perfectly aligned with Sun and Moon, all at 13° Libra. This means that whatever new moon seeds we plant, will carry forward with powerful and courageous momentum. And this can be a true rebirth of an I AM impulse, a part of our essence we are ready to claim and bring into our lives. The lower vibration of Mars can incite aggression, so if we are feeling triggered by someone, ask yourself, what would Venus do? What would Love do? Mercury Trine JupiterJupiter is positively and powerfully expanding our mental mercurial capacity, and as Mercury is in retrograde, we have an opportunity to communicate that idea again, to continue the negotiation, to not give up on communicating with those we are in close relationship with, and to persevere with seeking that solution. Don't give up on your ideas!There is definitely a theme here, being opportunities to restore peace of mind!Chiron Opposite Sun and MoonChiron is the Wounded Healer and in opposition to the new moon, we are being encouraged to restore balance for our health's sake. This can be physical, mental, emotional, financial, spiritual, or relationship health. Are we over-spending, does our diet need an adjustment, could we introduce a regular mind-cleansing meditation to our routine? Also, note if there are any relationship wound triggers coming up.
