You Win Some, You Dim Sum: an uplifting comedy show

This weekend, celebrate everyday wins with Chicago Standups at a comedy show that will leave you feeling uplifted and craving dim sum!

We don’t celebrate our wins enough — so we made a comedy show where you can watch stand-up, win dim sum treats, and celebrate each other’s victories (no matter how small).

You Win Some, You Dim Sum is a Chicago Reader Best Comedy Show Nominee for 2025 and features some of the best comedians in Chicago bringing big laughs in a feel-good, high-energy room.

Here’s how it works:
First, you’ll watch hilarious stand-up comedy. After each set, we’ll invite audience members to share a win from their day, week, or month. Whether you nailed a presentation, got out of bed, or simply survived — we celebrate it all.

If you share a win (TOTALLY OPTIONAL!), you’ll be rewarded with a mystery dim sum treat that changes every month. Cheering is encouraged, sharing is never required.

Whether you’re surviving or thriving, there’s room for EVERYONE to celebrate. After all, dim sum literally means “touch of the heart” — so come laugh, connect, and touch a few hearts with us.

REFUND POLICY: Please note that refunds are only available by request up to 24 hours before the event start date. Requests for refunds after that will be declined but a credit note will be issued for future shows (via email.) Thanks.
