Shadows of The Peale Escape Room

The Peale Center for Baltimore History and Architecture, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is restoring the oldest museum building in the United States in partnership with the City of Baltimore. Through its programs, the Peale Center will illuminate the authentic stories of Baltimore's people and places while reinventing the urban museum in the creative and innovative spirit of its founder, artist Rembrandt Peale.

It's 1816 in Baltimore, and you must recover the missing patent for gas lighting before the city's hopes for illumination are lost forever.

It's 1816 in Baltimore, and Rembrandt Peale has just received a $5,000 patent from his father and brother to bring revolutionary gas light to his museum - and to the entire city. Reluctant to follow his family's guidance, Rembrandt hides the valuable patent - determined to forge his own path to success.Now, time travelers (that's you!) must search through Rembrandt's 1816 museum - among fossils, portraits, gas lamps, and curiosities - to recover the missing patent before the city's hopes for illumination are lost forever.Can you solve the mystey and help Baltimore see the light?Join us for Shadows of the Peale, a limited-run, immersive escape room experience inside the historic Peale Museum.We recommend 4-8 players for this escape room experience. All ages are welcome!
