At his mother's insistence, Christian accepts a job as a barista in a small café. Here, he meets Lucas, a South American boy who is both his colleague and Giulia's next-door neighbor. Lucas and his eccentric grandfather Juan, known as 'the neighborhood madman,' reawaken Christian's imagination, encouraging him to complete his novel. The innate connection between Christian and Lucas evolves into a deeper feeling that shakes both of them, helping them see life in a new light. New encounters and experiences awaken Christian, who finally rebuilds his relationship with his mother and finds the motivation and hope for the future.
