The Center for Arts at the Armory is a non-profit organization that resides in a historic Armory building, serving Somerville and the Greater Boston community and beyond as an accessible and inclusive venue for the arts, cultural and community events, exhibitions, markets, classes and more.The mission of Arts at the Armory is to provide an inclusive and accessible venue that creates opportunities for artists and cultural workers, brings diverse audiences together, enriches and transforms lives, and promotes the creative economy. In addition to the many events that CAA hosts that are produced independently of CAA, CAA has five signature programs: The Spotlight Series, The Performance Opportunity Program (POP), The Somerville Winter Farmers Market, The ROOTED Armory Cafe Event Series, and ROOTED Armory Cafe Visual Arts Exhibitions. CAA curates and produces performances in the Armory Performance Hall featuring local and touring artists as part of our Spotlight Series.

Arts at the Armory brings Grace Kelly with her “scorching saxophone” to the Spotlight Series stage on May 9, 2026.Grace Kelly, an unequivocal musical prodigy, singer-saxophonist-songwriter-composer, and band leader, has rocked the jazz world with sold-out concerts, 15 acclaimed albums, and a resume that includes performing at the Hollywood Bowl as well as a member of the house band for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert – all before reaching her mid-twenties. In 2022, she became the youngest member of Berklee College of Music’s Board of Trustees.Grace’s early career highlights featured performances at Barack Obama’s 2009 inauguration at age 16 and at age 14 as a soloist with the Boston Pops playing an original, arranged composition with the legendary orchestra. Since then, she has played over 1,000 shows as a bandleader in 35 countries at venues such as the Kennedy Center, Moscow Symphony Hall, and international jazz festivals. Touted for her scorching saxophone stylings and purring vocals, Grace has performed and recorded with renowned artists including Lin Manuel-Miranda, Dave Brubeck, Lee Konitz, and Phil Woods.Tickets available now; experience an electrifying concert with Grace Kelly on May 9, 2026 at Arts at the Armory in Somerville, MA. Doors open at 7:00pm, the show begins at 8:00pm with an opening act by Grammy award-winning singer songwriter Nadia Washington.
