The Dominican Film Festival celebrates the best in Dominican Cinema with the goal to enrich the artistic experience of New York's diverse cultural audience.The Dominican Film Festival's mission is to promote the new generation of Dominican filmmakers as well as the established one, its film industry, and to strengthen the vital and expanding economic and cultural relationship with the United States.We also aim to keep New York City audiences informed about the Dominican Cinema and its relation to the history, politics and social life of this country, as treated by the film makers, through the subjects and aesthetic approach they focus on.

DIRECTOR: José Gómez SINOPSIS: Tres historias en épocas distintas se entrelazan hacia un desenlace impactante. Yira Sandoval, una influencer en busca de un milagro para su hermana enferma, descubre la historia del Padre Emiliano Tardif, un sacerdote con un don de sanación, y el testimonio de Margarita, una madre que presenció la sanación de su bebé en una eucaristía celebrada por el Padre Emiliano. Esta búsqueda lleva a Yira por caminos que nunca imaginó.SYNOPSIS: Three stories from different eras intertwine toward a shocking outcome. Yira Sandoval, an influencer searching for a miracle for her sick sister, discovers the story of Father Emiliano Tardif, a priest with a gift of healing, and the testimony of Margarita, a mother who witnessed the healing of her baby during a Eucharist celebrated by Father Emiliano. This search leads Yira down paths she never imagined.
