Free, 20-hour CERT course open to anyone 13 years of age or older who wants to become a trained community volunteer.

This is a free 20-hour CERT course available to anyone 13 years or older who wants to:Keep themselves, family, neighbors, &amp; the community safe; before, during, and after an emergency or disaster strikes.Be prepared to help when disaster strikes until professional responders arrive and learn how to communicate and interact with responders in the most efficient way.Learn basic preparedness, fire safety, light search &amp; rescue, medical triage &amp; treatment, terrorism, CERT organization, and disaster psychology. This course culminates with a simulated disaster exercise.
