Cleveland Rocks: PPF’s Professional Development Workshops are held on the third Monday of the month from 7-9pm at the Cleveland Rocks Shop (15801 Waterloo Rd.). Each workshop will focus on a different music-related topic with discussions from 7-8pm, followed by a 2×4 Songwriter Showcase from 8-9pm featuring 4 different artists, 2 songs each. <h3>Workshop: Accounting and Record Keeping for Musicians and Small Music Businesses</h3>Guest Speaker: Brian E Shriefer, CPABrian E Schriefer CPA began his practice in 1986. Brian prepares taxes and advises creative individuals, small businesses / organizations and others. Brian is a 1980 graduate of Cleveland State University. He is a frequent guest lecturer at the Cleveland Institute of Art, Case Western Reserve, and The University of Akron in the professional practice's courses for artist and theater students. Drawing on her roots in raw, emotional folk-rock, Corissa channels both tenderness and ferocity, weaving stories that cut deep and linger. Her forthcoming album, born from this wave of inspiration, is brought to life with the support of a powerhouse band: Lex Moda (Cellophane Jane), Lovest Watson III (Femi Kuti, Brain Bacon), and Skyler Keffer (Orefice Roth).
