Do I have to donate to eat soup?

Accepted Answer

Donations of $15-20 are encouraged but not required. Soup will be available on a first come, first served basis. 100% of proceeds will go to Nonbinarian bookstore. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Do I have to buy a book to come?

We will celebrate books at this event and we hope you'll purchase a copy of Queers at the Table, but no one is obligated to buy a book.

What happens at a Queer Soup Night? Do I bring my own soup?

Accepted Answer

Queer Soup Night is a celebration of queer culinary prowess. Just show up and eat soup made by cookbook contributors. Meet your friends, learn more about the book. Buy drinks at the bar. Raise funds for nonbinarian bookstore. That's it!
