Deeper Mindfulness
Overview
Rediscover calm. Deepen awareness. Strengthen resilience.
Please join us for our private, members-only, 8-week Deeper Mindfulness Course, led by our IOSM-certified Teacher, Dr. Jessica Magnus.
This advanced program is FREE to OM Network Members and All-Access Guest Members. If you're interested in attending, you must claim your free guest pass and RSVP for the event in the network. Instructions will be at the bottom of your Eventbrite Confirmation.
Based on the groundbreaking book "Deeper Mindfulness: The New Way to Rediscover Calm in a Chaotic World" by Mark Williams and Danny Penman, this course expands upon the foundations of MBSR and MBCT. Participants will explore feeling tone (vedanā)—the subtle, moment-to-moment quality of experience that shapes how we respond to life.
By learning to notice these fleeting tones with curiosity and compassion, you’ll discover new ways to step out of automatic patterns, respond to challenges with balance, and appreciate the everyday moments that bring joy and connection.
An Experiential Journey Beyond Foundations
Each weekly session blends experiential learning, guided practice, and supportive group dialogue. Participants will:
- Learn to recognize the subtle “flavor” of each experience before reactions take hold
- Pause and respond with clarity rather than fall into automatic reactivity
- Strengthen resilience in the face of stress and uncertainty
- Meet difficult emotions with kindness and openness
- Integrate mindfulness into communication, relationships, and daily routines
- Develop a sustainable personal practice that deepens long-term well-being
