Kentucky LCSW Supervision 6-hr

This is the new LCSW Supervision training based on the amended clinical regulation (201 KAR 23:070).

This is the new LCSW Supervision training based on the amended clinical regulation (201 KAR 23:070).For context, the new training to become an approved clinical supervisor has increased from three (3) hours to six (6) hours.

This is for staff that have had their LCSW for at least three years and are planning on supervising CSWs. This workshop is designed to meet the requirements of supervision training for clinical social workers. This training is now required for all clinical social work supervisors once in every 3-year re-licensure cycle.

This six (6) hour training is approved for 6 CEs with the Social Work Board, and will cover these four core areas:

1. Theoretical Foundations for Clinical Supervision

2. Practice Modalities, Techniques, and/or Approaches to Clinical Supervision

3. KY Rules & Ethics for Clinical Supervision Practice

4. Evaluating Clinical Supervision
