Yes. The Abbey on Butler Street was a former funeral home and has several bars in different areas of our building. We are a real deal during Halloween. During this spooky event we will have four unique bars open along with DJs, Live Festival Entertainment (Fire Arts), and Tarot Card Readers.
This Progressive Halloween Bar Tour includes the following :
- The Parlour Bar - This room was formerly used as a public space for funeral viewings,.
- The Vesper Room - Once partly a space for the Undertakers apartment(yes, they used to live on site!) and partly a casket showroom. Today it's our Vesper or Evening Room.
- The Arcade Bar - Our outdoor bar and was once the porte co·chère drivevway where caskets were loaded into a hearse, and lastly
- The Attic Hideout - Our speakeasy that is upstairs and above everything.
Mourners and Friends will be able to go from bar to bar and enjoy each one of their unique craft cocktails or mocktails without having to get in a car. Each bar will also have their respective drink menus for other cocktails to purchase. There will be DJs, Live Entertainment, and giveaways and treats. You can also get a Tarot Card reading!
This will be a fun event to start your night before a party or to finish your evening after dinner.
