Join us for our annual blending party and help create 8 Chains North's next Wine-Club-only red blend, exclusively for members.

<h2>Craft the Next Vintage of Hot Donkey!</h2><p>Our most anticipated event of the season is the annual Wine Club Blending Party. The Blending Party offers our members a fun and exciting opportunity to help create the next vintage of its Wine Club-only red blend. This year, we'll be creating the 2023 vintage of Hot Donkey, a robust red created with our estate grapes.</p><h3>The Process</h3><p>Here's how it works: Upstairs in the Vine Room Wine Club members form teams and we supply you with pipettes, beakers, glasses and, of course, wine. We start with a barrel tasting of all of the 2023 vintage reds you can use to blend your masterpiece. These are wines that are not quite finished aging, and are scheduled for bottling in Spring of 2026. Possible "ingredients" for the blends include Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Tannat.</p>

<p>Then the magic starts. Each table will come up with a consensus red blend to put up against all of the other groups. Edz and Mark will retire to the Production Room to formulate each of the blends for tasting while you enjoy a BBQ lunch catered by Mission BBQ.</p><p>Once the blends are ready, everyone tastes all of the luscious creations and votes for their favorite. Each participant gets a vote. Then we will crown the winner and rack the blend to its own barrels to be bottled in spring.</p><p>Tickets are very limited. Get yours today!</p>
