Adult Jazz Spring ConcertThursday, May 28, 2026 at 7:00 PMBarbara E. Field Recital Hall Join our adult jazz bands for an evening spanning swing, hard bop, Latin jazz, and bossa nova. The program features a swinging chart by pioneering jazz pianist and composer Mary Lou Williams, the soulful groove of “Jean de Fleur” by guitarist Grant Green, an energetic selection inspired by the vibrant rhythms of Tito Puente, and a bossa nova by Brazilian master Antônio Carlos Jobim. The evening also includes the jazz standard “Yesterdays” by legendary Broadway composer Jerome Kern.
