Letterform Archive

<p>The **Letterform Archive** in San Francisco was founded by collector Rob Saunders to share his extensive private collection of letter arts with the public. Opening in February 2015, the Archive now provides hands-on access to over **100,000 curated items** spanning thousands of years of history related to lettering, typography, calligraphy, and graphic design. The Archive has hosted over **20,000 guests** from around the world, including students and design professionals. A core part of the experience is **serendipity**, as the collection's breadth and accessibility encourage visitors—whether they come for specific research or general inspiration—to discover something unexpected. </p>
