This conference is for Celtic polytheists who seek more information and ideas about planning for a good death, whether it is our own, that of a beloved, or someone we are a caregiver for in our work or personal life. Having good information, and building a community conversation around death work and death practices will help us all make better choices, and will help us be more at ease with this important mystery. We intend for this conference to be inclusive of people of all cultures, ethnicities, ages, genders, sexualities, and other differences of circumstance.

Not able to attend on the day? No problem. We will make videos of all presentations available to registered users after the conference through November 30, 2021.

Our sliding scale registration is intended to provide flexible pricing for those whose circumstances might not permit them to attend otherwise. If you can pay at the higher end of the scale, please do. We are paying all profits from this conference to the workshop presenters for their time and knowledge. Please read the Worts & Cunning page called The Sliding Scale: A Tool of Ecoomic Justice for a wise analysis of this pricing philosophy.

The Presenters and Workshops: There will be six workshops in total, and none will be scheduled at the same times. Our presenters include Morpheus Ravenna, Sharon Arnold, Mortellus, Rue McDonald, Izzy Swanson, and Scott Richardson-Read. Please visit our website for full workshop descriptions. All workshops will be recorded for later viewing, with thanks to the presenters for this permission.

Rules of the Roundhouse (important, so please read in full): While few and simple, these rules are important in keeping with the spirit of hospitality and community building. We want all conference participants, presenters, and moderators to feel safe and supported. We are committed to fostering a welcoming environment and inclusive space. To that end, there will be no tolerance for any form of discrimination or bigotry (i.e. racism, queerphobia, sexism, ableism, ageism, classism). Disagreements happen from time to time, which is fine; just engage in a way that keeps with the spirit of hospitality and respect. The organizers will not tolerate any form of harassment or bullying.

While we do not anticipate it becoming an issue, the organizers and our volunteer hosts reserve the right to remove individuals who are not in compliance with our Rules of the Roundhouse.

During presentations, please mute your microphones on Zoom to avoid creating distracting background noise, and to help us record the workshops with minimal distractions. Please follow the lead set by presenters about best times to ask questions or engage in conversation.

Self-Care: We recognize that conversations and ritual interactions on the theme of death and dying can stir up strong emotions. We urge you to contemplate in advance what might be challenging or triggering for you, and take steps to establish a personal support network if you think you will need one. This might include a close friend or spiritual advisor to talk with, or contact with a therapist. Some participants may choose to establish magical or spiritual protection if you feel it necessary. Please take care of yourself by taking necessary breaks, and leaving a session if it is not the right fit for you at the moment.
