Join us for Crosstober: A Crosstown Trail walk, section by section, each Sunday in October.

We’re spending a month of Sundays walking the <a href="https://crosstowntrail.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Crosstown Trail</a>, and we’d love you to come along. Our Crosstober walks cover each of the five sections, from Candlestick Point to Lands End, led by Crosstown Trail Coalition volunteers. Terrain is mixed: pavement, dirt trails, stairs, ascents, and descents. Bring water, snacks, and anything else you’ll need, and keep a mask handy. Meet at 10 a.m. at Sunrise Point, Candlestick Point State Recreation Area. We’ll walk 5.3 miles through the Visitacion Valley Greenway, McLaren Park, and the Portola neighborhood to finish at the Glen Park BART station.Please note that the walk starts at the Sunrise Point Fishing Pier, about a 15-minute walk from the entrance to Candlestick Point State Recreation Area on Hunters Point Expressway. Sunrise Point is at the extreme southeast end of the park. The park&#x27;s parking lot is currently closed, so plan accordingly.
