Rhinelander Cemetery Lantern Tour 2025
Date: Saturday, October 4th, 2025
Time: 1pm-3pm, Daytime Tour
Location: Forest Home Cemetery, Rhinelander, WI
Come join us for a historical lantern tour of Rhinelander's Forest Home Cemetery! Explore the grave sites of Rhinelander's past residents and hear stories from our actors and knowledgeable guides, as we uncover the history buried at Forest Home Cemetery! Six graves will be visited with 7 historic portrayals.
- Meet at Forest Home Cemetery, and park on the road near the intersection of Coon and Maine Streets.
- Look for the registration table near 1st and B Street within the cemetery (near Coon St) where the tours begin.
- Tours leave every 15 minutes and last approximately 1-hour.
- Prepurchased tickets will add your name to our will call list at the registration table (tickets can also be purchased in person at the registration table for $10 cash.
- Prepurchased tickets can be used during any tour interval.
- Prepare to walk apprxomately 3/4 of a mile in total. Wear sturdy footwear.
- Rain or Shine
- Children must be accompanied by an adult. Children 10 and under are free.
- No Refunds for prepurchased tickets. If you cannot make it Friday, we will honor your ticket for Saturdays tour. No shows will be considered a donation.
This tour is brought to you by a collaborative effort between Pioneer Park Historical Complex, The Rhinelander Historical Society, the GFWC Rhinelander Woman's Club, and Almond and Berry Bakery of Rhinelander.
Proceeds to benefit Pioneer Park Historical Complex and the Rhinelander District Library.
