Join us on a tasty stroll through Decatur to celebrate several restaurant and farm awardees of the 2025 Snail of Approval program!

Join Slow Food Atlanta on Monday, October 27th, for our second annual Snail Trail stroll in celebration of several awardees of the 2025 <a href="https://www.slowfoodatlanta.org/snail-of-approval" title="https://www.slowfoodatlanta.org/snail-of-approval" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Snail of Approval</a> and the camaraderie between farmers, chefs, and concious eaters. The evening will consist of a six course progressive menu, cocktails and storytelling from Decatur restaurants <a href="https://www.kimball-house.com/" title="https://www.kimball-house.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Kimball House</a>, <a href="https://www.deerdove.com/deerdove" title="https://www.deerdove.com/deerdove" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Deer and The Dove</a>, and <a href="https://www.leonsfullservice.com/" title="https://www.leonsfullservice.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Leon's</a>. Guests move from one venue to another—often starting with appetizers, followed by soup or salad, the main course, and finishing with dessert. This social event encourages mingling and exploring various culinary styles.Where and when will this take place?We’ll begin at Kimball House at 6pm and walk to the other locations. The entire route is 0.9 miles. If you’re able, walking with the group is encouraged though not required. Restaurants are 5 minutes from each other.What happens if it rains?This event is happening rain or shine. You may want to bring a raincoat or umbrella for the walk.Parking?Street parking is available in the Arlo Parking Deck on Trinity Ave as well as along East Howard.
