Orchestra Miami is Miami's premiere professional orchestra! Founded in 2006 by Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi, Orchestra Miami exists to fill the unique cultural needs of our community. Our goal is to provide low-cost, high-quality artistic experiences that build community & provide programming which would otherwise be unavailable in South Florida. Equally important, is to produce high-quality concerts which everyone can afford, and to provide children & their families opportunities to experience classical music, & use it as a tool for learning and enjoyment. With performances from Sunny Isles Beach to South Dade, it’s easy to find an Orchestra Miami event near you! Orchestra Miami consists of a select group of South Florida-based professional musicians, whose collective body is unparalleled in terms of excellence and experience. Led by Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi, Orchestra Miami continues to exceed expectations & bring the best available in classical music to South Florida.

Family Fun

Orchestra Miami's Family Fun Concert Series takes place at Pinecrest Gardens! Join us for these fun, educational events that take place throughout our regular season!

Orchestra Miami’s Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Family Fun Series continues with Carnival on Sunday, Feb. 13, 3pm at Pinecrest Gardens! In this exciting performance, you and your family can learn about the music and traditions of Brazilian Carnival and the traditions of Capoiera. Created by Brazilian slaves in the state of Bahia, Capoiera is a Brazilian cultural expression which combines martial arts, sport, popular culture, dance and music and is considered one of the greatest symbols of Brazilian culture. Enjoy music and dance from São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and others!!This wonderful concert will feature dancers Ingra Sancho, Laís Lopes and Elke Dietrich along with Marcos Melo Capoeira Joao Alonso, and Marcio Cardoso on percussion. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, $8 for kids, and $39 for a family pack (2 kids and two adults).
