Join us at Stax Music Academy for this free Behind The Scenes workshop led by acclaimed producer, arranger, and music director Devereau Williams. This interactive session will guide young musicians through the essentials of becoming not only a skilled pianist but also a true professional and leader in the music industry. Students will explore: - The importance of music theory - Building strong piano skills - Professionalism on and off the stage By the end of the workshop, participants will gain a deeper understanding of what it takes to thrive as a fully working musician. About the Guest Artist: Devereau Williams is the Musical Director for GRAMMY Award–winning R&amp;B icon <a href="https://iamstephaniemills.com/" title="https://iamstephaniemills.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Stephanie Mills</a>, whose legendary career spans more than five decades, from originating the role of Dorothy in The Wiz to earning multiple #1 hits and cementing her place among the greatest voices in soul music. He is also the founder of RhoDev Entertainment, LLC, where he provides services in music production, live entertainment, arrangements, TV and film scoring, and artist development. With extensive experience shaping sound both on stage and behind the scenes, Devereau brings artistry, leadership, and valuable insight to inspire the next generation of musicians.
