Fall is here, and there’s no better way to kick off the season than with an evening of world-class cigars, rare Scotch, and live jazz in one of NYC’s most iconic cigar lounges.

Join NYC and tri-state cigar lovers on Tuesday, October 1st at 8pm at The Carnegie Club for our next Straight Up & Toasted pairing event—an unforgettable night of phenomenal cigars, great conversation, and live jazz.

For this event, we’re thrilled to feature J. London Cigars, with founder Jonathan Fiant in attendance to present his latest creations. Guests will enjoy two premium blends: the Mr. London: “The Introduction”, blended by legendary master blender Eladio Diaz, offering a smooth, balanced profile with subtle sweetness, earthy undertones, warm toast, and a touch of cayenne spice; and the Gold Series Toro, a creamy, refined cigar with notes of salted nuts, caramel, and charred cedar.

On the Scotch side, we’ll be pouring two exceptional Glenfiddich single malts: the limited-edition Glenfiddich x Aston Martin 16 Year Old, matured in a trio of casks for rich notes of maple syrup, caramelized ginger, and fruit with a silky, sustained sweetness; and the Glenfiddich 21 Year Rum Cask Finish, aged for two decades and finished in Caribbean rum casks, delivering vibrant tropical flavors, warm spice, and lingering complexity.

J London Cigars

Founded by Jonathan Fiant, J. London Cigars is known for crafting ultra-premium cigars that reflect elegance and refined taste. At this event, you’ll experience two of their incredible blends. The Mr. London: “The Introduction”, a new release blended by legendary master blender Eladio Diaz, features a Corojo ’99 wrapper, San Andrés binder, and a complex Dominican filler blend. It offers a smooth, balanced profile with subtle sweetness, earthy undertones, warm toast, and a touch of cayenne spice. The Gold Series Toro showcases an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper and binder with Dominican fillers, delivering creamy, floral notes with hints of salted nuts, caramel, charred cedar, and a touch of vanilla.

Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch

We’ll be pairing these exceptional cigars with two remarkable Glenfiddich single malts. The Glenfiddich x Aston Martin 16 Year Old is a limited-edition collaboration matured in a trio of casks: new American oak, ex-bourbon barrels, and American oak wine casks. It offers rich aromas of maple syrup, caramelized ginger, and subtle toasted oak, with a silky palate of Chantilly cream and fruit, finishing with smooth, sustained sweetness. The Glenfiddich 21 Year Rum Cask Finish spends 21 years aging before being finished in Caribbean rum casks, bringing vibrant tropical character. Notes of vanilla, banana, figs, dried fruit, and toffee lead to a long, warming finish with oak, spice, and lingering sweetness.
