Alan Liu, guitar

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation says: “Just wow.” Praised by Juilliard’s Sharon Isbin as “a leading guitarist of his generation,” Alan Liu is a significant rising talent. Liu was named by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation as the first and youngest guitarist in its “30 Hot Musicians Under 30” program, and he is distinguished as one of the youngest laureates of the Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition. Alan’s concerto engagements have included performances with the Prince George, Victoria, and Vancouver Symphony Orchestras. With more than 30 competition prizes, Alan has received major awards in Michele Pittaluga (Italy), Parkening, and Montreal (Canada) International Guitar Competitions, to name a few.

All are invited to an artist meet-and-greet reception following the concert.
