The W. Edwards Deming Center for Quality, Productivity, and Competitiveness, in partnership with the CBS Distinguished Speaker Series, presents a fireside chat with Julie Sweet ’92, Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Accenture.
Sweet’s distinguished career includes 17 years as a partner at the law firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. She joined Accenture in 2010 as general counsel and was appointed CEO in 2019, becoming the company’s first female CEO. Under her leadership, Accenture has experienced significant growth. She is widely recognized for her leadership, named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People and a top leader on Fortune's Most Powerful Women in Business list . Sweet holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School.
This discussion will be moderated by Costis Maglaras, Dean of Columbia Business School, and the David and Lyn Silfen Professor of Business at Columbia University.
