The Austrian Cultural Forum Washington (ACF DC) serves as a focal point to promote Austrian culture and art in the Washington DC metro area. By organizing a variety of cultural events (concerts, film screenings, exhibitions, theatre performances, lectures and panel discussions) throughout the year, we aim at encouraging cultural exchange between Austrian and American artists and its audiences.

In cooperation with Boulanger Initiative, the ACF DC invites you to an inspiring evening of music with the female quartet airborne extended.

In cooperation with <a href="https://www.boulangerinitiative.org/" title="https://www.boulangerinitiative.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Boulanger Initiative</a>, the <a href="https://www.acfdc.org/home" title="https://www.acfdc.org/home" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ACF DC</a> invites you to the Embassy of Austria for an inspiring evening of music with <a href="https://www.airborneextended.com/" title="https://www.airborneextended.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">airborne extended</a>, a female quartet performing contemporary music on flutes, recorders/Paetzold, harp and harpsichord with electronics and objects.In their program new cosmologies, which explores natural and transnatural phenomena, airborne extended presents milestones of their concert tours and worldwide collaborations with composers from the USA, Turkey, Ukraine, Slovenia, Switzerland and Austria.Stay after the concert for a wine reception with the artists and Boulanger Initiative community.You can find more information on our <a href="https://www.acfdc.org/events/airborneextended2025" title="https://www.acfdc.org/events/airborneextended2025" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">website</a>.
