We included 5 podcast episodes that take a step back and look at the stories historically and contextually—what were they trying to tell us, and what are they telling us now?We&#x27;ll start with round-robin intros and then we&#x27;ll spend some time chatting about the playlist and wrap up with sharing our podcast recommendations.Join us! It&#x27;s a great way to meet new people and have interesting conversations.All are welcome! Podcast Brunch Club is like book club, but for podcasts. We have 50+ chapters across 5 continents. Every month we send out a thematic podcast playlist and then we gather to discuss it and swap podcast recommendations. Don&#x27;t worry if you can&#x27;t listen to all of it beforehand.</li><li>Once you register, you will be sent a confirmation email. You&#x27;ll need to log into Eventbrite at the time of the event to find the link to join the Zoom meeting.</li><li>If you have any difficulties, email virtual.pbc@gmail.com.</li><li>By registering for this event, you will be added to the PBC newsletter and to future virtual chapter meetings (if you aren&#x27;t already on the list).</li></ul>Technical tips for Zoom meetings:<ul><li> If you are in a noisy environment, please mute your microphone whenever possible.</li><li>We encourage you to turn on your video, but it’s not required.</li><li>Suggestion: Use the “hide self view” feature in Zoom to limit distractions associated with looking at yourself on camera</li></ul>Discussion house rules:<ul><li>Actively listen to other people and listen with empathy. Be curious and ask questions.</li><li>Always engage in constructive dialogue. It’s ok to disagree, but please express your thoughts and opinions in good faith. Anyone who personally attacks another member of the group or is otherwise disruptive to the conversation will be removed from the meeting by the chapter leader. </li><li>Please try to avoid interrupting other people as much as you can. This can be tricky in the virtual environment, but raising your hand either through the zoom tool or on camera can help. </li><li>Limit self promotion to the beginning of the meeting when you introduce yourself and the end of the meeting when the meeting leader asks for podcast recommendations.</li></ul>
