<h1>This is not your ordinary 5k! This is a 5k with a twist! During registration, you will predict your 5k time. The top closest times will receive turkeys!</h1><h2>Gates open at 9 a.m., Race starts at 10 a.m. </h2><h2>There will be food and beverage vendors from 9 a.m.–12 p.m. </h2><h2>There will also be other local vendors with giveaways, products for purchase, and information!</h2><h3>A few things about this race(the rules and stuff!)</h3><ul><li>Race starts at 10 a.m.</li></ul><ul><li>No GPS devices, tracking, or cell phones are allowed during the race.</li></ul><ul><li>The course will not be revealed until the day of the race (November 20). </li></ul><ul><li>Predicted times will only be accepted during the registration process and cannot be changed. </li></ul><ul><li>Strollers are allowed</li></ul><ul><li>Well-behaved, LEASHED, vaccinated dogs are allowed</li></ul><ul><li>All runners must be on the course by 10:15 am.</li></ul><ul><li>Must be present to win. Winners will be announced at approximately 11:40 am.</li></ul><h2>Prediction Time Information</h2><p>When you fill out the registration page, there will be a question asking your predicted 5k time. You will enter your time in hour: minute: second format. For example. If you predict your time will be one hour even, it will look like this: 01:00:00. If you think your predicted time will be twenty four minutes and ten seconds, it will look like this- 00:24:10 or this- 24:10. </p><p>If you have any questions about this or anything else, please email catherine.r.baden.naf@mail.mil. </p><h3>Register by November 10 for a guaranteed shirt! The shirt will be a long-sleeved hoodie! All participants will receive a custom medal and sticker.</h3><h3>Registering after November 10 will not guarantee that you will receive a shirt. The lines can get long for same day registration. No runners will be allowed on the course after 10:15.</li><li>Same day pick up: There will be same day pick-up available, starting at 9 a.m. at Iron Horse Park</li><li>Location: Intramural Sports Office, Bldg. 2031</li><li>Map to new office is below</li></ul>

However, in the case of severe weather and the course becomes inaccessible and/or pose a major safety danger to participants, the race may be postponed or cancelled. If Fort Carson is closed or delayed due to inclement weather, the race will also be postponed. Please check our Fort Carson MWR Facebook Page for updated information on weather delays.</p><p>Those attending the event assume the risk of injury as a result of inclement weather</p><p><strong>Parking:</strong></p><p>No parking in residential/base housing/neighborhoods on Fort Carson.</p><p>Parking is free, space is available on a first come, first served basis.</p><p>All personnel must park in designated parking areas.</p><p>Parking in prohibited areas will result in a citation and the vehicle being towed.</p><p>Please follow the signs for designated parking areas.</p><p><strong>Physical Security/Other: </strong></p><p>FULL LIST OF PROHIBITED ITEMS AND BAG POLICY APPLIES</p><p>100% random personal property inspection in effect.</p><p>No firearms and/or weapons allowed.</p><p>Privately owned drones/UAV's are not allowed.</p><p>No bikes/scooters/hover boards/skateboards/rollerblades allowed</p><p><strong>Traffic:</strong></p><p>Please observe posted speed limits.</p>
