CYBER.ORG, formerly The National Integrated Cyber Education Research Center (NICERC), is a cybersecurity workforce development organization that targets K-12 students with cyber career awareness, curricular resources and teacher professional development. The United States Department of Homeland Security supports CYBER.ORG through a grant from the Cybersecurity Infrastructure and Security Agency (CISA) to develop and distribute cyber, STEM, and computer science curricula to educators across the country. During this fall’s CyberEd Webinar Series, we’re all about connecting the dots between K-12 cyber education and the cybersecurity workforce. How does a student go from having just a spark of interest in cybersecurity to landing their dream job? Across the span of 3 webinars, we’ll explore different aspects of cybersecurity career awareness as we talk with IT professionals, K-12 educators, and cyber education leaders.Ever wonder what the day in a life of a cybersecurity professional is like? Hear firsthand from cybersecurity professionals, ranging from entry-level to senior level as they share their stories and experiences from the cybersecurity field.
