This introductory class participants will be guided through an exploration of the concepts of intersectionality and feminism.

overview﻿﻿﻿This introductory class participants will be guided through an exploration the concept of intersectionality, the definition of intersectional feminism in the United States, and the feminist movement and its intersection with race, gender, class, and ethnicity. Participants will be tasked with exploring their own personal biases and individual actions they can take to be more inclusionary in their feminist interactions.what you'll learn: ﻿<ul><li>the foundation of intersectionality and its intersection with the feminism movement</li><li>the history of the feminism movement and its exclusion and inclusion of non-white and non-cisgender women</li><li>how to be intersectional in your activism and advocacy</li></ul>*This class will be led by a Facilitator in Training as part of our Antiracism Facilitator Fellowship.
