&lt;strong&gt;Class Description&lt;/strong&gt;Learning about photography can be a real challenge. There are so many pieces to the puzzle of photography, some of which use confusing terminology. And while we also offer other wonderful Beginner Photography classes to get you started, nothing is truly the same as hands-on in-the-field! It’s important to fully understand the “why” and “how” of your camera settings.In this outdoor, hands-on class, you&#x27;ll learn all about the basics of photography. We will discuss Exposure (how light works with the camera), the Big Three Settings (Aperture, Shutter Speed, &amp;amp; ISO), how they affect your picture and how to set them, and what mode to set it to on your camera! We&#x27;ll discuss changing depth-of-field (controlling what’s in focus in the background), stopping or blurring the action in your scene, and many other basic picture-taking techniques. This will be an excellent opportunity to learn about your camera in a fun and safe environment! Join us to strengthen your photographic knowledge!&lt;strong&gt;In this session of Beginner Photography in the Field...&lt;/strong&gt;...we will be going to Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Portsmouth, New Hampshire is a large eclectic town along the coast of New Hampshire with a blend of new and old architecture amid a variety of shops, restaurants, docks, boats, and colors. The end of the day and night time is a rich and beautiful time for creating photographs. We will discuss and demonstrate various techniques for shooting in low light scenarios in and around Portsmouth using available light. This is such a vibrant area and a terrific chance to learn about photography at blue hour and into the night for long-exposures. If you&#x27;re a beginner and you also want to learn about how to shoot in low-light and night situations, this is a great opportunity! Bring your camera and your enthusiasm to learn all about photography in a hands-on, real-life environment!And yes, you&#x27;ll end up with images in the end like those you see here.
