What equipment do I need to bring if I'm sparring?

Daedo body protectors and head guards will be provided. Competitors must have their own Daedo-compatible foot guards, as well as a mouth guard, hand guards, forearm guards, shin guards, and groin guard.

What are the competition divisions?

Competitors will be divided into five divisions — Black Belt (1st Dan and up), Brown Belt (1st and 2nd Gup), Blue Belt (3rd and 4th gup), Green Belt (5th and 6th gup), and White-Yellow (7th to 10th gup). Divisions are broken down by gup, not belt color, and may be combined or expanded as needed.

What are the competition age groups?

Competitors will be divide into the following age groups: 5 and under, 6-7 years old, 8-9 years old, 10-11 years old, 12-14 years old, 15-17 years old, 18-32 years old, and 33 and over.

Competitors may register online through April 21, 2026.

Sparring and poomse events!

Must have mouthguard, headgear, groin cup, and pads to spar. All divisions will use the Daedo electronic scoring system. World Taekwondo sparring rules for all ages. Double-elimination black belt sparring for ages 12 and up.

Special prize!

The most support taekwondo school will receive a special prize during the tournament.
