October Inspired Teaching Institute (ONLINE)
Join us for a lively learning experience designed to help parents and educators use improv to teach through the unknown.
Education (and parenting!) has always involved an element of the unknown, but the past few years have made that more of a focal point than an occasional experience. How can we best help our children and ourselves navigate so much uncertainty?
What if we work together to make this year a good one for our young people?
Each month throughout the 2021-2022 school year Center for Inspired Teaching will gather PARENTS AND TEACHERS together to learn about, practice with, and strengthen the skills of improvisation that can be tremendously helpful when navigating the unknown. Together we'll increase our "uncertainty tolerance" while maintaining a laser-like focus on centering children's joy and engagement.
We will hold each monthly session twice, once online and once in person.
In October we will explore:
- "When the Opposite Is Also True"
- Learning how to manage what is and isn't in our control
- Questioning as a tool for developing flexible thinking
This is the registration site for our ONLINE October session.
Our in-person session takes place:
October 16 | 10 AM to 12 PM ET
Location: U.S. National Arboretum
You can find the in-person registration page here.
Download our yearlong calendar of FREE Institutes. The calendar is linked so you can register for any and all events.
