Parking?

It's free out front of the building on Burroughs, as well as in our lot on Amsterdam between Cass and Woodward. There's plenty of inexpensive meter spots on Second Avenue as well.

What will we do?

Typicall between 25-40 people throughout the day join us to talk Detroit, Metro Detroit, and Michigan stuff. What's new in your neighborhood? What's really bugging you? What's the hottest place nowadays? We love to get together and chat.

How do I get in?

The front door is on Burroughs Street under the awning. The studio has a door, but that's a lie as it's for emergency use only. So we'll have someone in the lobby as well as signage to text in case you have questions.

Everyone is welcome! But, this is an event around our Daily Detroit podcast and newsletter community. So if you're new, welcome! But check us out on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or our Daily Detroit website and newsletter to get the vibe.

We love our city and region, while looking clear-eyed at what we need to improve and how to make it better. If you hate the city, this is probably not the place for you. The show is hosted by majority city residents, but draws in from the region. If you want to make it a better place, then welcome!
