Join us for 5k Fun Run event at Künstler Brewing. Run, walk or jog a 5k course, then celebrate at the finish line! February 21, 2026!

We are the Texas Brewery Running Series® and we run for beer!

Join us on Saturday, February 21, 2026, for a 5K fun run that starts and ends at Künstler Brewing in San Antonio's Southtown, Lone Star District. The run starts at 11:00 AM.

Gather your family and friends and run, walk, or jog our 5K-ish course—then raise a glass at the finish line with a craft beer brewed just steps away. Whether you’re running, jogging, or walking, this event is open to all ages and fitness levels. Enjoy discovering the Lone Star District and the Mission Reach of the San Antonio River Walk.

Event Details

When: Saturday, February 21
Time: Fun run starts at 11:00 AM (Check-in from 10:15-10:55)
Where: Künstler Brewing | San Antonio, TX
Course: A marked 5K-ish route that starts and ends at the brewery, weaving through nearby neighborhoods and along the Mission Reach of the River Walk. Course map + parking details will be emailed the week of the event.

Our Mission

A portion of proceeds from every event supports local nonprofits, helping make a positive impact in the community. Nationally, we have raised more than $700,000 to date! This run will support the San Antonio Food Bank, and we’re hosting a food drive. Bring non-perishable food items and earn a ticket for our Give Back Raffle for each item donated.

Important Details

• This is a fun run, not a timed race—all paces are welcome, whether you run, jog, or walk.
• Open course alert: Roads will not be closed. Follow all traffic laws and stay aware.
• Our 5K-ish route starts and ends at the brewery and is designed to highlight the surrounding neighborhood. Follow the arrows and enjoy the sights!
• Bring a valid ID. You must be 21+ to enjoy the beer. Underage runners will receive a token for a non-alcoholic beverage.
• Rain or shine! If conditions aren’t safe for running, we’ll still gather for good times and great beer.
• No bag check—please pack light and dress for the weather.
• Dogs and strollers are welcome, but use caution. City sidewalks, streets, and trails may have uneven terrain which might not be suitable for your 4-legged and/or pint size running buddies. Künstler Brewing is dog-friendly and allows leashed dogs on its outdoor patio and Bier Garden.
• Please drink responsibly. Carpooling, ride sharing, or designating a driver is always a good idea.
• We’ll email you final event info the week of the run—keep an eye on your inbox!
